St. Mary's Academy is an independent, Catholic school in the tradition of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. Serving young women in Grades 7 to 12, the Academy offers the advantage of an all-female environment that encourages students to excel, to explore personal talents and to exercise leadership. We have a long tradition of providing an intellectually challenging academic program, an extensive campus ministry and religious education program, and a variety of extra-curricular activities.

A Community of Learning, Faith, and Service

St. Mary’s Academy has an enrollment of upwards of 600 students in Grades 7 through 12 who come from diverse socio-economic, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Our students are academically oriented and 95% of graduates go on to attend the post-secondary institution of their choice.

Offering an intellectually challenging program of studies is a priority, but the Academy is more than  academics. We’re committed to nurturing the faith life of our young women, and to providing opportunities for them to become involved in the school and broader community. Being of service to others at a local, national or global level is instilled in our young women. Furthermore, there are ample opportunities for students to engage in school life at the Academy — regular liturgical celebrations, arts, music, athletics, clubs, activities, travel and more are all part of an Academy education.

Academy Publications

St. Mary’s Academy strives to keep students, parents, alumnae and friends informed about news, events and activities at the Academy. The Torch Light magazine, for alumnae and friends, is published annually in September. Parents and students receive an email communiqué at the end of each school week and a quarterly Newsletter. Our students also strive to keep the student body informed by way of regularly publishing their student-led newspaper, The Spark.
